Slimbolala has been added to my blogroll. It is written by David Olivier from New Orleans. He is in Austin, TX for now having evacuated during the early stages of Katrina. I linked to his blog after reading a piece he wrote for the Morning News called Notes From the Storm. Despite the trying circumstances he and his family have faced in recent days, he has retained his sense of humor, to wit, this. He also claims to be late to the b'sphere, having started his blog in January '05. Well, he's not as late as me.
